Our recently released interactive floor was demoed for a group of SEN (Special Eduactional Needs) teachers and specialists invited to a symposium hosted by our local partner MGL. The event entitled "Enriching the SEN Curriculum" featured some fascinating talks given by teachers who have seen real results from using new technology in the school environment.

 

The educational floor took center stage and we also presented our new, specially designed projection floor surface which in addtion to offering a high-quality image has a host of saftey features. The floor can be set-up and removed in minutes and lays perfectly flat. 

 

The talks featured information from across the SEN spectrum: behavioural and learning difficulties, fine motor skills and so on. The reaction to our system was extremely positive and in addition we recieved invaluable insights which we'll use to hone our upcoming content releases. The specialists were all impressed by the versitility of the system and could see its utility across the curiculum and for a wide range of ages and abilities. There was also praise for apps we demonstrated which showed the different aspects of the system from physical development to sensory stimulation. 

 

It was clear that through the creative use of technology the educational programme can be enhanced and importantly the lives of these children enriched. The stories we heard were inspiring and gave us great encouragement as we continue to refine our content.
