For our Howick Place deployment Flasma employed the new Roku BrightSign HD2000 High-Definition Solid-State Media Players. Flasmas use of the players at this unique installation recently attracted the interest of the trade press:

For this particular project Artwise the curatros and Idris Khan were insistant that the video displayed was of the highest quality. The video was provided in the high quality HDV format and we had it deinterlaced and converted with virtually no loss in quality to MPG2.
The sequences are highly detailed so we needed HD quality and a high performance player. To further complicate the situation the sequences needed to be synced at 07:00 every morning and loop continually until 01:00 AM. This would usually require complex software and a PC based solution. We were delighted to find out that our needs could be met by Roku's solid state HD2000. Given the short time we had to convert the video, test and set up the players it was pleasing to find the players easy to use and set up.
Since deployment many comentators have expressed their suprise at the quality of the video sequences and Artwise themselves noted that they looked "even more beautiful then we imagined".
